Immunization

Immunization is a proven tool for controlling and eliminating life-threatening infectious diseases and is estimated to avert over between 2 and 3 million deaths each year. It is one of the most cost-effective health investments.


We provide immunizations for all age groups as per the following schedule (Indian Academy of Paediatrics guidelines which also incorporates the WHO and National Immunisation Schedule)


Recommended adult Immunization schedules, by vaccine and age group

Hepatitis B – 3 doses – For all Age Groups

Hepatitis A – 2 doses – For All age groups

Meningococcal – 1 or more doses – For all age groups

Varicella – 2 doses – For all age groups

Human papillomavirus (HPV) 3 doses (females) – (19 – 26 yrs)

Pneumococcal (polysaccharide) 1 or 2 doses – (19 – 64) – 1 dose> 65 yrs.

Influenza – 1 Dose Annually (for all age groups)

More than 6 weeks Pneumococcal conjugate 3 primary doses at 6, 10, and 14 weeks, followed by a booster at 15-18 months
More than 6 weeks Rotaviral vaccines (2/3 doses (depending on brand) at 4-8 weeks interval
After 15 months Varicella Age less than 13 years: one dose
Age more than 13 years: 2 doses at 4-8 weeks interval
After 18 months Hepatitis A 2 doses at 6-12 months interval
